[Assam] what do people think?

Of India's President putting a hand across the face of gold medalist
Abhinav Bindra.
Where's the professionalism display in this - she is greeting an Olympic
winner in public and not her son in her private space. Wouldn't a warm
handshake suffice?
Why does she wear the "uroni" ( the sari around her head )? Is she a bride?
Of what - the constitution, her position? It presents a rather submissive
picture of the leader of the largest democracy in the world.
I can't help but think of a caption for the image shown:
"Beta, Beijing me noodle-woodle kha ker bahut kamzor ho gaye ho. Maine
tumhare liye special palace kitchen mein poha, puran poli, vadapav,
pavbhajji banake rakhe hoon". ( My best Hindi here )
An English translation:
"Son, you have become rather weak eating all the noodle-woodle in Beijing. I
have some <Maharastrian dishes> specially made for you in the palace
kitchen."
