An Appeal On Behalf of Central Executive Body : JECAA

Dear Joencovites,
 
We, the alumni of our college are widely dispersed all over the world. We take pride in this wide distribution, for it not only shows the extent of services which are being provided by Joencovites to different organizations spread all over the world , but is also a reflection of the glory of Jorhat Engineering college, our Alma Mater.
 
We want to unite now under the banner of Jorhat Engineering College Alumni Association. We want to stand hand in hand as reflected in the JECAA logo for the cause of our Alma Mater, for the welfare of our alumni, JEC student community and the society as a whole. Our association has already embarked on the journey of this noble cause. 
 
Because of our widely scattered Alumni, it has been extremely difficult to contact all of them individually inspite of our sincere efforts to do so. To overcome this roadblock, we have now launched the web site – www.jecalumniassn.in . Regular Updating of the contents of this site particularly in respect of our activities and the gradual growth of our membership will ensure the transparency that we seek to acquire and would keep all Joencovites aware of the progress being made in bringing about the welfare of our Alma Mater, the Alumni and students of JEC and the Society at large. 
 
The constitution of our Association has the provision of formation of a Chapter anywhere in the world for the convenience of our alumni. As of now, we have seven Chapters in place. Efforts are on to increase this number. 
 
Let us all try to strengthen our Association so that it can pursue the objectives, as well set in the constitution. 
 
Wishing you all the best and looking forward to your enthusiastic cooperation in the activities to be pursued in the days to come.
