Yesterday my roommate showed me a few You Tube videos - when I was amazed to see him laughing after seeing one on Sino India 1962 war -- I joined in too - after the comical scenes of goodbyes and handshakes between POWs (Indians) and their Chinese counterparts - and how in confusion the war took place (at that time my father [then 18 year old] was studying at India's elite National Defense Academy where everyone was wondering if indeed Indian PM Nehru would disband the military in name of world peace - as he had commented publicly ). Indians seemed lacking communication between front lines and the rearguard -as seen from the video. Chinese seemed eager to avoid bloodshed - and the locals in the video seem happy to see the army (in Tibet?).

Then we saw the SSG video of Pak army - they said it is ranked 3rd in the world after US and UK -- did seem quite well trained, tough and well equipped. We can all learn from each other. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=28OmwUwtEc8
I couldn't find a similar video from India's NSG.
any comments?
