Quinoa belongs to the same family as Amaranth ( Khutora xaak, morisa
xaak, Datha in Bengali) and Lamb's Quarters or pigweed ( Jilmil
xaak). While the Quinoa strain has been cultivated, Amaranth and
Lamb's Quarters have remained wild. The Morisa Xaakkor guti (
Amaranth seeds ) are very similar to Quinoa seeds, except that Quinoa
seems to produce more and larger sized grains.

Botanical names:

Quinoa: Chenopodium quinoa.
Amaranth: Chenopodium quinoa Wild
Lamb's Quarters: Chenopodium album
Purple Amaranth ( Morisa xaak, Datha) : Amaranthus cruentus, Amaranthus blitum
