Chandanda,
It's from official Delhi Airport website. http://www.newdelhiairport.in/page.asp?id=photo-gallery.asp
Couple of times last year , I flew to Cal from Del from Delhi domestic airport, looked at the pics again...infact I was in one of the departure terminals.. they are real after the facelift :-)
I may be wrong - are there 2 domestic terminals there ? Gauhati flt orginates from a different terminal ???not sure, and most likely that other terminal didn't get the makeover yet.
Toilets in Delhi domestic airport lounge looked new to me , air freshner et al and was clean, there was a attendent/janitor inside standing with a wash cloth and a mop ! Also a volvo bus ( nice n clean ) took us to aircraft ! Flying Kingfisher was a pleasure after travelling by continental from USA ! Pls try Kingfisher if you haven't already :-)
My cousin was telling me ,for work he takes shuttle service to BOM from Del twice a week. Once Kingfisher was 2hrs behind schedule for technical reasons, , Mr Vijay Mallay probably in transit in Delhi came to know about it and personally boarded the aircraft just before they were ready to fly .....picked up the intercom and apologized to each passenger for the delay , not only that Kingfisher sent out a posted "we are sorry" letter . I have found Kingfisher even better then Jet Airways !
You are absolutely correct , it's an utter chaos outside delhi airport , specially leading to the entrance.
