The paper was released at a seminar held here today.> > According to the focus paper Rs 886.38 crore and Rs 441.05 crore have been assessed for agriculture and industries sectors while Rs 897. 19 crore has been assessed for services sector. The policy paper also laid emphasis on agro and food processing sector.> > It may mentioned here that the new industrial policy has focused on food processing sector keeping in view the potential in the region. The funds projection made on the basis of an indepth study made by the NABARD covering the entire 27 districts in the State. Now, the banking industry operating in the State will disburse funds as per the projection made by the NABARD.> > The NABARD has been assisting the State Government for rural development.
