Search for oil near Silchar continues : ONGC Chairman

GUWAHATI, Sept 23: Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd (ONGC)
discovered 35 new oil and gas fields in the Northeast during 2007-2008.
The number of new discoveries during the period from April to August
has reached nine, said ONGC’s Chairman-cum-Managing Director RS Sharma
in a press conference here last night..........
