Book on Mihir Kanta Barooah released

 GUWAHATI, Feb 2 – Eminent litterateur and journalist Homen Bargohain
formally released a book, Abhinandan Mihir Kanta Barooah, a collection
of articles by different writers on Mihir Kanta Barooah, a retired IPS
officer and a short-story writer of the Ramdhenu age, at a function at
the Vivekananda Kendra today.

The function was attended, among
others, by Mamoni Raisam Goswami, Harekrishna Deka, Atulananda Goswami,
Nirupoma Bargohain, Lakshahira Das, Nalinidhar Bhattacharya,
Dhirendranath Bezboruah, PG Baruah and Kamaleswar Bora. 

The collection has been compiled by Dipali Bhattacharya Baruah and published by Katha Publishers.
