Dear Ram Da,
My views are already before you. Say, my views about 'security forces'. It
is not qualitatively different on the issue of 'reservation' and its fruits
in NE tribal reason. I look at things from holistic point, bound by a common
thread; because, I am not a post-modern man having a discrete oulook that
changes with issues. But then, study of history too has so many schools of
thought. When there is a paradigm diffrerence on the view point; a person
holding a particular view point can only express his views, and can never
score a point, even if he tries to think so. Only if he can proselytise the
other to his view point, they can have a fruitful discussion ending on a
course of action. Say, Galileo can at best state his views before the
Inquisitors, but cannot expect to win them over. But a discussion/ debate
between Galileo, Copernicus and Keppler may lead to some resolution. How was
that for an answer Ram Da? We must not lose sense of humour, no matter what
:-)
