Sorry C'da! Then it must be somebody else who said that Assamese words are being replaced, more and more, by Sanskrit words whereas it didn't even come from Sanskrit. And I thought that makes a language even stronger, for example, people keep using French/Latin words like via, e.g., per/ annum, etc., etc. within the English language - that did not make the language disappear.
Also, do you know that the demolishion of the Babri Masjid is Not considered a proud achievement by many hindus. A lot of them were shocked and did and still do condemn it.
