Dear Friends and Colleagues,

I am here to announce the release of my book “How Artifacts Afford: The Power and Politics of Everyday Things.” Out today with MIT Press.

The book shifts the driving question in affordance analyses from “what objects afford” to “how objects afford, for whom and under what circumstances?"

Please consider this work as you finalize your syllabi. If you adopt the book, I am happy to Zoom in for a Q&A with your class. I’m also available for Zoom book talks and seminars.
