Dear Colleagues,
I am pleased to invite you to submit your work to the minitrack "Dark Sides
and Criminal Uses of Digital and Intelligent Technologies," which I am
co-chairing as part of the upcoming Hawaii International Conference on
System Sciences (HICSS-59), to be held January 6–9, 2026, at the Hyatt
Regency Resort, Maui, Hawaii.

Cyberviolence, cybercrime, and digital deviance
Misinformation, deepfakes, and ethical challenges of generative AI
Psychological effects of digital technologies, including technostress
Security breaches, phishing, ransomware, and online scams
Policy and regulatory implications

by digital and intelligent technologies, as well as strategies and
interventions to mitigate these dark sides.
