I have no reply to your observation re: involvement of high-ups in corrupt  
business practices. I know Tharoor only as an intellectual. You are in the  
States and possibly you know more about the UNO and its officials, in  
particular, their shenanigans. Kofi Anan (Is the spelling right?) himself was  found in 
the dock recently. 
 
Corruption is a broad issue;particularly in the context of Indian  trade. 
Perhaps I would share my views with you and the netters some  day.
