[Assam] The opening ceremony

More pathetic is the poor show of number of Indian athletes. 56 out of 1
billion population.

Even a small country like Cuba had a contingent of 167 athletes. Thailand
had 61 athletes out of 42 million population. I think Australia showed the
best, about 350 athletes out of 20 million population.

What is wrong with India?
It must be the Indian culture.
I know many Indians, as usual, will try to defend its position.

What China has shown in the Opening Ceremony is an apt Eastern response to
the Western civilization. I am more over whelmed by the Chinese imagination
that goes behind the show. I donot think there will ever be such a
magnificent show of Olympic games.

I am at loss of words and thinking, how it is possible for China in spite of
Communist Dictatorship or if it is possible because of Communist
Dictatorship.
