*** I see that YOUR interest here, like Sri
Dutta's -who wrote that Crybaby article, is
primarily to absolve Dilli's influence or
complicity or responsibility, right?
But mine was not an effort designed to absolve
anyone. If you read it the way you did, and it
makes you feel good, it is MY pleasure :-). I
like to please when I can and am very aware that
I cause much displeasure amongst our good
friends here.
*** My intention here was to help you all think
this thru, analyze it, place responsibility
where it may, reason why it happens and see if
you can suggest ways to improve if not eradicate
it. I am very aware of the fact that our very
intelligent and well meaning friends here never
take the bait. Perhaps I should not use a word
like 'bait' that could indicate I have an
ulterior motive to trap our friends :-). But
even I had such intentions, honorable and able
people ought not to shy away from taking it on.
For if they do, it only paints themselves in a
poor light--casting aspersions on their intents
in making the kind of arguments they do. Wouldn't
you think?
But seriously, I can say whatever I do, maker
accusations or comments that may have absolutely
no merit what-so-ever. And if so, why should it
bother anyone? On the other hand if it troubles
netters, then it is proof there are truths to
what I say.
My intent here is to help or encourage my fellow
netters to look into issues critically.
And if in the process they can debunk or disprove
something I might have wrongly asserted or
commented on, nothing will make me happier. So as
Oprah might say--You go girl :-)!

*** It could very well be true, even if there are
banks. Banks after all are too run by people.
You heard of Citicorp :-)? The question you
ought to be asking is HOW can this happen? What
allows it to happen?
And HOW can the citizenry help prevent it from happening?
But that is not something my fellow netters ever want to touch. I wonder why?
