That would be like saying - "they started it!" and letting the killers go. To these families it DOES NOT matter, who started. In fact, in most cases, the victims did not even start it, they were just there at the wrong place at the wrong time.

To the immediate families of the victims, that would be lectures from the book. 

 

They will have to be extra-ordinarily 'mohaan' to not to ask for justice, even if they have forgiven the perpetrators, it still would not be right to not ask for a trial. 

 

Asking them to look at the bigger picture just would not be the fairest thing. I won't force them to do that.

 

The killers need to be held responsible and tried in the court of law.
